Block and Report

When to block?

  • Open the contact's profile → Settings/Menu → Block.
  • In chat: Menu → Block or report.
  • Blocked friends will no longer appear on the map and can't send snaps.
  • Decline unknown users from Quick Add instead of accepting.
  • After blocking, tidy up your friends list a bit.

When and how to report?

  • Snap, Chat, Story, or Spotlight → Menu → Report.
  • Use Family Center and Snapchat Help for the latest steps.
  • If you're worried about your location: turn on Ghost Mode and check your friends list.
  • Save content (second device/screenshot) before it disappears.
  • If you're being harassed or blackmailed, seek external advice.
