INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND USAGE RIGHTS
1. Ownership of content
All content made available through www.nova-uni.com and under the Nova Uni brand is protected by applicable copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.
Protected materials may include:
– course videos and audio recordings; – written content and course scripts; – illustrations, graphics and animations; – avatars, figures and characters; – exercises, quizzes and educational concepts; – presentations and worksheets; – software, databases and platform functionality; – certificates and completion records; – logos, trade marks, names and visual designs.
The relevant rights are owned by Nova Uni UG i.G. or its licensors.
2. Limited personal licence
Subject to full payment, the authorised learner receives a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access and use the purchased content during the applicable access period.
The licence is granted solely for personal, non-commercial educational use.
No copyright, trade mark, ownership right or other intellectual property right is sold, assigned or transferred to the customer or learner.
3. Single-user access
Unless the applicable product description expressly states otherwise, each purchase permits access by one authorised learner.
A parent or legal guardian may assist and supervise the authorised minor learner.
A single-user licence does not permit use by:
– multiple learners; – an entire household; – a classroom; – a school; – a business; – a training provider; – a club; or – another organisation.
A separate family, classroom, institutional or commercial licence must be obtained where available.
4. Prohibited activities
Without the prior written permission of Nova Uni UG i.G., users may not:
– copy or reproduce course materials; – record video, audio or screen content; – download materials where no download function is provided; – share, distribute, publish, transmit or publicly display content; – upload content to social-media, video or file-sharing platforms; – publicly perform or broadcast course content; – sell, rent, sublicense or commercially exploit the content; – translate, adapt, modify or create derivative materials; – remove copyright, trade mark or ownership notices; – share accounts, passwords or login credentials; – bypass technical protection measures or access controls; – use bots, automated extraction tools, crawlers or scraping methods; – reverse engineer platform software; – create a competing product substantially based on the content; or – use the content to train, fine-tune, test, benchmark, evaluate or develop artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems.
Any activity that cannot lawfully be prohibited remains permitted.
5. Fair use and other statutory rights
Nothing in these terms limits an activity to the extent that it qualifies as fair use or is otherwise mandatorily permitted under applicable law.
Whether a particular activity is permitted depends on the facts, purpose, amount used and other factors required by applicable law.
6. Families and minors
Access purchased for a particular child or learner may be used by that person with the assistance or supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
The access may not be transferred to other children, households, schools, classes or organisations without an appropriate additional licence.
7. Schools, businesses and organisations
Schools, businesses, tutoring providers, non-profit organisations and other institutions may use the content only under an appropriate classroom, institutional or commercial licence.

8. Trade marks, logos and characters
The names Nova Uni, Nova Uni and the associated logos, avatars, characters, course names, designs and visual identifiers may not be used without prior written authorisation.
They may not be used in:
– business names; – domain names; – social-media accounts; – advertising; – competing educational services; – merchandise; or – any context that falsely suggests approval, certification, sponsorship, partnership or affiliation.
9. Certificates and completion records
Certificates and completion records may be used only by the person for whom they were issued.
They may not be:
– transferred to another person; – altered or falsified; – used to misrepresent identity; – used to claim completion of a course that was not completed; or – presented as an accredited, licensed, regulated or government-recognised qualification unless expressly identified as such.
10. User submissions
Where a learner submits answers, comments, exercises, images or other material, the learner retains any rights they legally hold in that material.
The learner grants Nova Uni UG i.G. a limited, non-exclusive right to process the submission only as reasonably necessary to:
– provide the service; – review educational activities; – save learning progress; – provide support; – maintain platform security; and – comply with legal obligations.
We will not use a child’s identifiable submission in public advertising without the permission required by applicable law.
11. Copyright complaints
A person who believes that material available through www.nova-uni.com infringes their copyright may contact:
support@nova-uni.com
The notice should include sufficient information to identify:
– the copyrighted work; – the allegedly infringing material; – the location of that material; – the complaining party’s contact information; and – the basis of the claimed infringement.
We may request additional information reasonably necessary to assess the complaint.
12. Suspected infringement by users
We may investigate suspected:
– unauthorised copying; – account sharing; – public distribution; – circumvention of access controls; – commercial exploitation; or – other misuse of protected content.
Access may be temporarily restricted during a reasonable investigation.
For serious or repeated infringement, access may be suspended or terminated after appropriate assessment and, where relevant, an opportunity for the affected person to respond.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
13. Enforcement
Nova Uni UG i.G. may exercise the legal remedies available in relation to infringement or unauthorised use.
Depending on the circumstances, those remedies may include:
– removal of infringing material; – cessation of the unauthorised use; – suspension or termination of access; – injunctive relief; – damages; – recovery of profits attributable to the infringement; and – recovery of legal or enforcement costs where legally available.
