REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Last updated: 2026-08-03

1. SCOPE

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to digital courses and educational content purchased directly from Nova Uni through www.nova-uni.com.

Seller:

Nova Uni UG i.G. Sirius Businesspark Industriestrasse 13 63755 Alzenau Alzenau, DE USt-IdNr.: DE05656218651123465 Aschaffenburg: 47110

Support email: support@nova-uni.com Telephone: Website: www.nova-uni.com

2. NO GENERAL FEDERAL 14-DAY CANCELLATION RIGHT

United States law does not generally provide a universal 14-day cancellation or cooling-off period for digital content purchased online.

The refund period described below is a voluntary policy offered by Nova Uni, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.

3. VOLUNTARY 14-DAY REFUND PERIOD

The customer may cancel the purchase and request a full refund within 14 calendar days after the contract is formed, provided that the user has not accessed protected course content.

To qualify for this voluntary refund:

a) no protected lesson may have been opened or started;

b) no course video may have been played;

c) no course material may have been downloaded;

d) no exercise, quiz or assessment may have been started;

e) the refund request must be received within 14 calendar days after the contract is formed.

4. WHEN COURSE USE BEGINS

Creating an account or receiving an order-confirmation email does not, by itself, constitute use of the protected course content.

Use begins when the user first:

a) opens or starts a lesson;

b) streams or plays a course video;

c) downloads educational materials;

d) begins an exercise, quiz or assessment; or

e) accesses another protected area containing the purchased content.

The platform may record the date and time of first access for administration of this Policy.

5. NO CHANGE-OF-MIND REFUND AFTER ACCESS

Once protected course content has been accessed, the purchase is non-refundable for a change of mind.

This rule reflects the immediate nature of digital-content delivery and the fact that the content becomes available for use once accessed.

This provision does not remove any mandatory legal remedy available where the content is defective, materially misrepresented, not delivered or otherwise subject to a legally required refund.

6. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a cancellation or refund, the customer must contact:

Nova Uni UG i.G. Sirius Businesspark Industriestrasse 13 63755 Alzenau Alzenau, DE USt-IdNr.: DE05656218651123465 Aschaffenburg: 47110

Email: support@nova-uni.com Telephone: Website: www.nova-uni.com

The request should include:

a) the customer’s name;

b) the email address used for the purchase;

c) the order number;

d) the course purchased;

e) the reason for the request, where relevant.

A reason is not required for a qualifying voluntary cancellation made before protected content has been accessed.

7. PROCESSING APPROVED REFUNDS

Approved refunds will ordinarily be issued to the original payment method.

Processing times may depend on the payment provider and the customer’s financial institution.

Nova Uni will not charge a separate refund-processing fee unless permitted by applicable law and disclosed before purchase.

8. DEFECTIVE, UNAVAILABLE OR MISREPRESENTED CONTENT

The voluntary refund limitation does not apply where a refund or another remedy is required because the purchased content:

a) was not supplied;

b) is materially different from its description;

c) is materially defective;

d) cannot be accessed because of a technical failure attributable to Nova Uni;

e) does not include a material feature expressly promised before purchase;

f) otherwise gives rise to a mandatory remedy under applicable law.

The customer should first contact support@nova-uni.com and provide sufficient information for us to investigate and correct the issue.

Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may include:

a) restoration of access;

b) correction of the defect;

c) replacement access;

d) extension of the access period;

e) a partial refund;

f) a full refund.

9. UNAUTHORIZED PURCHASES

A customer who believes that a purchase was unauthorized should contact support@nova-uni.com promptly.

We may request information reasonably necessary to investigate the transaction and protect the account.

This section does not limit rights available through the customer’s payment provider or applicable law.

10. THIRD-PARTY PURCHASES

Where a product is purchased through an app store, marketplace or other third-party platform, the refund request may need to be submitted directly to that platform.

The applicable third-party refund rules will govern to the extent the third party controls the transaction and payment.

11. PARENTAL PURCHASES

Where a parent or legal guardian purchases a course for a child, access by the child is treated as access under the purchaser’s account for the purposes of this Policy.

The adult purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the child does not begin the course before the adult has decided whether to retain the purchase.
