Aviso de privacidad

The organization responsible for personal information is Nova Uni UG (Sicher durchs digitale Leben), Sirius Businesspark Industriestrasse 13 63755 Alzenau. Contact for privacy requests: support@nova-uni.com. See also /impressum.

We collect, use and disclose account, order and learning-progress information to provide the service, meet legal duties, prevent abuse and secure the platform. For a German-established trader, the GDPR also applies to that processing. For commercial activity involving individuals in Canada, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) may apply. For Quebec residents, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) also applies.

Vercel Inc., 440 Terry Avenue North, Suite 200, Seattle, WA 98109, USA (https://vercel.com). Technical connection data (IP address, timestamp, user agent) may be processed. Personal information is stored outside Canada (including in the European Union and, depending on the host, other countries). Quebec Law 25 requires an assessment before personal information is communicated outside Quebec; we do not claim in this notice that a particular assessment file is complete.

Payments: Stripe as merchant of record (“Sold through Link”) processes payment, receipt and fraud-prevention data. We store only the transaction references needed for access, support and accounting.

Parent and child accounts store the data needed to perform the contract (email, display name, progress, test results, certificates). Child accounts are created by the adult purchaser. We do not require more personal information from a child than the service needs.

Retention: accounts and progress for the contract term plus a reasonable follow-up period; receipts and tax records for statutory periods; support messages for as long as the matter and possible claims require.

Your rights depend on the law that applies: access and correction (PIPEDA); withdrawal of consent; and, for Quebec residents, additional rights such as cessation of dissemination / de-indexation, data portability and an explanation of certain automated decisions, where the legal conditions are met. GDPR rights may also apply. How to exercise them: /rechte or support@nova-uni.com. Give the email address of your account.

Complaints: Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC), www.priv.gc.ca. Quebec residents may also complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI), www.cai.gouv.qc.ca. Residents of Alberta or British Columbia may also use their provincial commissioners where those statutes apply.

We do not send marketing email without the consent required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), except where a statutory exception applies (for example a transactional message about your order or access).
