Derecho de desistimiento
Canadian federal law does not give a general 14-day cooling-off right for this ordinary online purchase of digital learning access. The European 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to a consumer who is not an EU/EEA consumer.
Nova Uni does not refund solely because you changed your mind after access has begun. Starting to use the platform does not create or destroy a European withdrawal right you do not have.
Mandatory rights stay in force. Depending on your province or territory, you may cancel an internet or distance contract if we failed to give required pre-contract information, failed to give you an express chance to accept, decline or correct the order, failed to send a retainable copy within the legal time, or failed to start the service within the agreed time (or, if none was stated, within the statutory period — often 30 days). In Quebec, a compliant distance contract does not carry a general 7-day change-of-mind right; the 7-day and 30-day clocks in the Consumer Protection Act apply when those disclosure or copy duties were not met.
If the digital service is defective, unavailable for a material period, or not as described, you may ask for repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund as the applicable statute allows. Those rights cannot be waived by these terms.
To ask for a statutory cancellation or a refund, write to Nova Uni UG, Sirius Businesspark Industriestrasse 13 63755 Alzenau, email support@nova-uni.com, and include the account email, order date and the reason. For orders marked “Sold through Link”, Stripe as merchant of record usually refunds to the original payment method when a refund is due. Questions about course access go to us.
This contract is a one-time purchase of 12-month platform access. It does not auto-renew. There is no extra “subscription cancel button” duty described here because the product is not sold as an automatically renewing sequential-performance subscription. If a provincial rule later requires a specific cancellation path, we will honour that path.
