Sicher durchs digitale Leben

Terms and conditions

These terms govern the contract between Nova Uni UG (Sicher durchs digitale Leben), Sirius Businesspark Industriestrasse 13 63755 Alzenau, Germany, and the adult who buys learning access on www.nova-uni.com for the United States storefront. Prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD).

The seller is a foreign trader established in Germany. German law applies to these terms, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods where permitted. That choice of law does not take away mandatory United States federal or state consumer protections that cannot be waived — including protections against unfair or deceptive practices and any non-waivable rights if the service is defective or not as described.

The product page is not a binding offer. The contract is formed when you complete checkout through the offered payment flow and we send an order confirmation by email or activate access, whichever happens first. The contract language for this market is English.

The subject is time-limited online access to the child and parent areas, courses, videos, interactive questions, quizzes, tests and certificates, as shown for the package. Access lasts 12 months from purchase unless the product page says otherwise. You receive a personal licence to use the platform during that period. You do not receive unrestricted ownership of files, and we do not owe a permanent download. Videos and texts are part of that access, not a one-off delivery of a digital file that you own.

This is a one-time purchase. It does not automatically renew. It is not a subscription, not a free-to-paid trial, and not a continuous service that continues until you cancel. When the 12-month period ends, access ends unless you make a new purchase. We will not charge your payment method again for this order.

You need a common device, a current browser and a stable internet connection. Material product-specific requirements are shown before purchase.

The price is the amount displayed at checkout, including any sales or similar tax shown there. New paid orders are processed through Stripe Managed Payments and may appear as “Sold through Link”. Stripe is merchant of record for that transaction and issues the payment receipt. Nova Uni remains responsible for delivery, access and product support. Payment-receipt questions go to the support path named on the Stripe/Link receipt; access questions go to support@nova-uni.com.

Applicable US sales or use tax, if any, may be calculated and collected by Stripe as merchant of record at checkout. We do not list US state tax registrations in these terms. If no tax line appears, that is not a promise that no tax is due in your state.

There is no federal 14-day cooling-off right for this ordinary online purchase of digital access. The FTC’s 3-day Cooling-Off Rule applies to certain in-person sales away from a seller’s regular place of business — not to this website checkout. We also do not offer EU withdrawal rights on the United States storefront.

Nova Uni offers a voluntary 14-day refund only while protected course content has not been accessed. After you or the course user first opens a lesson, plays a course video, downloads materials, or begins an exercise or quiz, we do not refund for a change of mind. This does not limit rights if the service is defective, unavailable, or materially different from its description. Details: /widerruf (refund and cancellation policy).

An adult must place the order. Child accounts are created by that adult. If a learner is under 13, the purchaser confirms they are the parent or legal guardian (or otherwise authorised) and that we may provide the child area through the parent account. We do not collect a child’s email address as an independent contact. The purchaser will supervise the child’s use as appropriate.

Access is personal and non-transferable. Content may not be copied, published, resold or shared with unauthorised third parties.

Nova Uni UG is fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to foreseeable loss typical for this kind of contract and does not include indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that US federal or state law does not allow to be limited, including liability for fraud or for a service that is defective or not as described.

Complaints: support@nova-uni.com. You may also contact your state attorney general or the Federal Trade Commission. We do not require you to use a particular private arbitration body.
